The Five Tides
The Five Tides is a counter service restaurant and camp store located inside Assateague State Park. We serve breakfast and lunch to beachgoers, campers, park staff, and anyone spending the day on the island.
Better Food at the Beach
We are a concession stand, but we do not serve typical concession stand food. Our menu includes fresh salads, burgers, sandwiches, breakfast favorites, locally roasted coffee, ice cream, and seasonal specials. We also make our own sauces and choose quality ingredients whenever possible.
Supporting Assateague
The Five Tides is operated by Assateague Outfitters in partnership with the Maryland Coastal Bays Program. A portion of our proceeds supports Assateague State Park and the work being done to protect the coastal bays and surrounding environment.
We also work to reduce waste through sustainable packaging, fewer single use plastics, and better choices throughout our daily operations.

In addition to food and drinks, we carry beach supplies, camping essentials, souvenirs, and locally inspired Assateague apparel. Whether you need sunscreen, ice, a quick meal, or something to remember your trip, you can find it here.
